I never forget where I started, and maybe that’s why I see my profession as a mission.
As the son of a single mother, I had to help support the household and found myself at age 15 as a home remodeler. From there, my path was paved to be a renovation contractor responsible for renovating commercial spaces, boutique stores, banquet halls and homes all over the country.
In this framework I gained technical, practical, design and managerial experience, while providing creative solutions for each case individually, which actually sowed the seeds of my design language that I developed over the years.
After military service, at a relatively young age in the industry, I enrolled in interior design studies. This was as stated after years of fieldwork, technical understanding and materials research.
Today my firm specializes in luxury homes, garden and penthouse apartments, boutique stores, hotels around the world and furniture and product manufacturing – LUXURY custom made, and sometimes I find myself flying specifically to a manufacturing plant in Europe to make sure the program fits exactly with the product.
For each client who enters my office I prepare myself and learn to understand his needs and dreams, knowing that I am here to fulfill his dream only, and even though I connect to the modern style, I am open to any style according to the client’s requirement.
Whether it is an apartment or a complex, I always start by characterizing the design style which outlines the way to implement the project. I then prepare an invested presentation of mega-realistic 3D imaging, which gives the customer the future living experience, and of course at each stage I make sure with the suppliers in charge of the production and execution line, that the result matches 1: 1.
Behind every program is the spirit of creativity and inspiration I have drawn from my travels around the world, from independent studies I have conducted and from cultures to which I have been exposed. Although the inspiration is eclectic, I pour into the house a coherent and inviting atmosphere.
These days, design hotels, penthouse apartments kissing the sea and projects overlooking the lake and river are growing into the sky. When asked where the daring comes from and what keeps the fire in their eyes, I answer:
“As someone who has dug foundations underground, surfaced and experienced the whole process in the flesh, I feel confident and ready to design the penthouse in the skyscraper.”
