We each have a preferred color. The owners of this property wanted blue to be the dominant color. However, they didn’t want it to create a dark and somber feel and instead wished to create a light and inviting atmosphere. This was the starting point for the plan. Upon completion, there was no room or corner that didn’t incorporate blue in one way or another, but I allowed myself to further deepen and diversify the blue palette.

When choosing the materials, I knew right away that blue and velvet were a perfect match but the furniture design had to be clean from any elaborate design or ornamentation.
The window to the right of the TV wall was draped with curtains that along with the main curtain created an upside-down L shape.
The light-colored television stand softens the dominance of the sofas, covered with smokey pink cushions, that create a fascinating dialogue with a couple of decorative pictures.
The light blue duo of easy chairs adds another dimension to the array of colors in a space that is decorated with mostly ‘cold’ furniture. The living room exudes an inviting warmth thanks to the light color scheme and the golden metalwork on the side tables.
In the bedroom, the headboard is covered in classic velvet and symmetrical stitching. The walk-in wardrobe has been accessorized with a dominant blue chair that gives the feeling of walking into a premium luxury-hotel suite.
And if color is the core focus, it is impossible to complete such a project without the finishing touch of greenery that turns the space from an apartment into a home.
As in all my other projects, here too the products were planned and created by state-of-the-art craftsmanship.
